Talking OMGawd, I DO NOT believe this!

    Hey y'all.

I just made a big salad that had cucumbers in it, right? Well one big circular slice fell on the floor. My kitty Nikita started slapping it around the apartment floor like a hockey puck.

THEN.....just now I heard chomping sounds. I looked under this table, and.....he is EATING CUCUMBER.

Correction, he ATE it. Is this for real? This kitty also jumps up onto the bathtub rim and laps up hot soapy bathwater.

I'll convert him into a rawfoodie yet....

My cat loves the inside pea in snap peas. I throw it, he tries to catch it, bats it around the floor for a bit, then eats it. They are wonderful and amazing creatures. Right now, he's basking in the sun.....wishing my turtle would come out and play with him. My turtle who is a raw foodie......he's munching on cabbage right now.

My cats attack our grocery bags the second we sit them on the floor, and they drag out pieces of our greens and chew on them for the rest of the day. And they LOVE corn. They chew on our used ears...haha

I've heard that some cats like to chew on wheatgrass. Anyone tried feeding their cat some wheatgrass ?

My cat likes to eat veggies straight from the vine. She won't eat them any other way. I'll put her leash on her and she'll walk along the Earthboxes, sampling everything.

one of my cats, Gray, seems to eat whatever I offer him - rather, he licks it. He likes red grapes, and LOVES corn on the cob. He will lick the cob (where I've eaten - not on the kernels!) to no end. He seriously LOVES corn. Amazes me. The other four don't eat any of my food, lol

My boy cat loves fruit. I actually have to lock him in the bedroom when I eat watermelon, peaches, banana and plums or drink a green smoothie with banana in it. If I leave him out he will actually get in my lap and pull the plate to him. He freaks over those things! I usually save the last little bit of banana for him and he likes to lick it out of the peel. My girl cat could care less about fruit.

Sometimes you can buy "cat grass"...that is really just wheat grass. It's fine for them to chew...and good for them. But if they eat too much I'm sure it would make them throw up.

I lived on a farm as a teenager and we used to raise and sell sweet corn among other things. We would always husk a dozen or so ears for dinner and one day the dog got a hold of one of the husked ears and started eating it. He would lay on the ground with the ear pinned to the ground with a front paw on either end and started chomping away. After that day we would husk an extra one for him to enjoy. One day I actually saw him (he was a collie) go up on his hind legs and push over a stalk of corn, rip an ear off and drag it into the yard where he proceeded to rip the husks off with his teeth and start eating away. I would not have believed it if I hadn't seen it with my own eyes. My dad used to tell the guys at work about it and he would mention afterwords that he (the dog) preferred it cooked and buttered. ;-})

I wish I had had a video camera to tape him doing this. I could have won Americas Funniest Videos.
