Question Vita-mix Wet blade only vs. getting dry blade too

I'd like to get a Vita-mix 5000. Ok, so I'm not sure how beneficial it would be to get the dry blade. It's $399 for the 5000/wet blade and $479 for the Super 5000/wet/dry blade bought new. I've been using either the Magic Bullet, food processor or a regular blender to grind nuts/seeds. I also have a coffee grinder. I don't think that I necessarily need one, but my understanding is that it would make sauces and dry grinded ingredients smoother. I'm sure it would do it faster too. Perhaps it is a time-saver and the consistency of the end-product would be better. Just thinking out loud here because I don't have anything to compare what I'm getting now versus what I would have with a Vita-mix.

How much are you all using the dry blade?
