    Question Balanced Nutrition

    Hi Everyone,

I would like to get everyoneÂ’s input on the subject of a well rounded diet. Most of us limit ourselves to the things we like (I know I do) and as far as nutrition is concerned, this is not always good. We as living and raw fooders have a much more varied diet than cooked food eaters and our nutritional intake is much better but eating for optimum nutrition does require a little thought.

In the past, I never gave what I ate much thought and just practiced a shotgun approach to nutrition.(You know, just eat whatever and hope my body could use it.) Well, as I get older, I can see and feel the effects of this way of eating. My body’s “vital energy” is at an all time low and that is why I am starting this post.

I know there are quiet a few of us that take supplements to supply what is lacking in our diets and thatÂ’s ok but I would like to limit this post to raw & living foods.

In your opinion, what foods would you choose as staples for a well rounded and balanced nutrition out of the following categories:

    Acid Fruits:
    Sub Acid Fruits:
    Fruiting Vegetables:
    Leafy Vegetables:
    Root Vegetables:
    Beans:
    Grains:
    Seeds:
    Sea Vegetables:
Fermented Foods (not necessarily living but thought IÂ’d include it anyway):
?love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control"

    Hello Kirk,
I have been experimenting with the approach explained at http://bodybubble.com/eco-eating/
I am interested in the science behind 'balance'. This is my third day and I feel very solid. I am eating way less fat, lots more greens and fruit.
The chart and symptoms/assets list is really amazing. All greens are not created equal. I found this out when I went to work after having a greens soup made from predominantly spinach and kale. Within 45 minutes I was ready for a nap. The next day I had some asparagus and celerly and was full of energy.
