There used to be but they closed down. It was in the Gentle Strength Co-op.

Now all they have are potlucks, the first Saturday of every month, same people put that together. They meet in Ahwahtukee(sp?)

Sedona has a wonderful raw restaurant on 89A and Tucson is opening one inside a yoga center.

I'm here in Phoenix too, wishing there was still a raw cafe:O(

rawnhealthy-I'll be at Copperwynd Spa (Near Phoenix, I think)l ate in February for a week. I've heard that there's a raw restaurant fairly nearby. Would that be the one in Sedona that you mentioned? how far away from where I'll be is that, can you tell? Is 89A a Highway number. And do you know how far away I'll be from Tuscon where there might be a new place open? I'm sorry to be a pest, but i don't know how to get more info. Patagonia is way far away, right, lik a couple of hours. I'm sure I heard that there's one closer. Thanks for whatever info you can provide me.

    Default restaurants in phx

You will be in fountain Hills if you are at the copperwynd spa resort and that is on the outskirts of scottsdale.Sedona and Tuscon are hours away unless you want to do the drive. There is a restaurant at scottsdale and shea called the mandala tea room with raw food selections. That will be the closest and Phoenix has only one other one called Green in Tempe which is vegan with some raw.

Bffllover --Thanks so much for the tip. I'm going to see if they have a web site. ???Are "Scottsdale and Shea" different cities, each of which have a Mandala Tea Room, or are they boulevards or something in Scottsdale?

    Default mandala tea room

website is mandalatearoom.com and scottsdale and shea are the cross streets and is probably only 15 miles from where you will be staying.I live in fountain Hills. Just do a mapquest from your hotel---easy drive . The mandala is in old town scottsdale and hear it is awesome plus alot of other stuff to see in old town scottsdale.

Very helpful! Thank you again! So you live very near where I'll be staying? did I tell you that I'm coming with my 6 daughters (count 'em!). We stayed at Copperwynd last year for 4 days. This year we're going for a week. It's so awesome that they all love to do this. It involves 21 grandchildren being cared for by their dads while the moms pamper themselves. ;)

    Default copperwynd

Yes--I only live a couple of miles from the copperwynd--I have only eaten lunch there but it was fun.I moved to fountain hills to be close to my daughter who has 2 kids 4 and 5 year old.I am getting a divorce after being married 34 years.I am just starting the master cleanse fast and am starting raw foods after that. I have been on raw foods on and off last sev months but have given into my stress andgotten off track over the holidays. But I am convinced raw food lifestyle will be what saves my life, sanity, and catapult me into the direction I want to be in.I just bought a ticket for the raw food festival in Sedona this September--there are alot of awesome spas there too.Have fun!!!!
