Weight Loss . . . been a problem all of my adult life. Just could not deal with the hunger required to lose weight!

In addition to RAW, the book by Dr. Young "The PH Miracle for Weight Loss" is fantastic. There is no hunger for me when following his principles. All of his recipes are not RAW but most are. It is very easy to follow his plan and stay RAW and that is what I am doing.

After taking a break somewhat due to knee surgery I am now totally back into RAW, etc., using this book as a reference. I was almost totally RAW but not quite and the weight loss stopped. Now I am incorporating RAW with acid alkaline balance and feel great and really pleased with results.

I am so encouraged about the weight loss . . . just had to share. When I am able to start my walking every day again it will be even better! That is about a month away.

Hope someone can be encouraged and motivated! Has anyone else used his book successfully?

I have tried green smoothies and just can't seem to get into that. I do a green drink in the morning made with lemonade (with stevia) and Alissa's green mix and that seems to be doing ok for me. I have a taste problem with greens and no sweet fruit. The sweet fruit and greens just do not seem to agree with me. I like the green drink because I can drink it. The smoothie is always too thick, not sweet enough, etc., etc., etc.

I eat nuts every day but not a lot. I do eat at least one avocado every day and that seems to help with weight loss.

We live in the boonies and do not have a HFS of any size. Cacoa is not familiar to me without ordering online which I do not do much of. I do not know how similar it is to cocoa. Do not think cocoa is raw and I know it is an acid food and contains caffeine, both of which I try to avoid.

Maybe you can tell me more about cacoa?

There are differing opinions on cacao. No, it is not the same thing as cocoa. Very different. Cacao makes me feel great and I hear that it is supposed to suppress the appetite, which in my opinion it does!
