Hi all I have 2 parakeets(budgies) both male Neo and sky. And 2 Cockatiels Dandy a female and Crackers a male. They like veggies, seed, and zupreem pellets and some products by a company called Lafeber. I also have a Guinea Pig named Gizby thought I'd mention him too.

Do Chickens count? I have raised them since they were day old chicks. I love them, as much as I love my two dogs and our little kitten. Chickens are such characters and great fun to watch.

    :) Me Too!
I've got 7 kids; 6 still at home from 14 years old down to 3 yrs old and 2 cocktiels,3 rats,1 chinese hamster,1 guinea pig,1 cat and 1 dog. Just a complete little family. We just recently got our birds and I've started sprouting and am trying to get the birds to enjoy.

Oh yeah!!! I love my birds. I've always only had one at a time. I've had 3 parakeets, one cockatel (sp?) and I now currently have a male canary who has the most beautiful song. That's what I've always loved about my birds, their song....it's so bright and happy.

Bringing this thread back! I have become a bird lover since getting my cockatiel, Tony. 3 years ago this August. I will forever be a bird person now.

I even look at birds differently in the wild, I love watching them move, fly, eat, sleep. It's no wonder why people become Bird Watchers. I'd do this if I had more time on my hands. I love hearing the different bird calls as well. Being able to hear a bird and know what kind it is.. fun hobby.

I just gave Tony his mist bath today, and now he's settling in for his afternoon nap.

    I love him dearly.

Genesis 1:12 And the earth brought forth grass, and herb yielding seed after his kind,
and the tree yielding fruit, whose seed was in itself, after his kind:
and God saw that it was good.

not because it is far away and can’t be reached but because it is so intimately close,
closer than anything that can be spoken." - Gangaji
