    Default Any Bird Lovers Here?

I have three parakeets/budgies. They eat all RAW, like most birds...:) I have two male birds whose names are Jaz and Aerith and one female whose name is Skye. Any other bird lovers here?

ME! I have always loved birds. I have a lesser sulphur crested too, a Moluccan too, a blue and gold macaw and a cockatiel. The Moluccan is going through a phobia stage where he is scared to death of me.

They are all picky eaters and don't eat their veggies like they should. I give them zupreem natural pellets and fruit too.

    Default me too!

I have a parakeet loose in my living room who somehow gets along with my two pit bulls. they will catch birds in the yard, but let keet hang out peacefully. he was a housewarming gift 3 years ago, and he is still alive and kicking even after the death of his women 3 years ago.

I have 4 parakeets, 6 finches (Zebra, Society and Silver Beaked) and Blake my baby Cockatiel. He is named after Blake Lewis from American Idol.

My birds eat raw treats, but much prefer their seeds...

    so yup - I'm a bird lover...

Ooh! Me! Me!! Me!!! I have 3 parrots: Queezle, my 1 y.o. Jardine's parrot, Gadget the who-knows-how-old quaker who plucks & Mangish the 13 y.o. sun conure. They all eat raw; I ditched the pellets a long time ago.

Since I went raw, I keep trying to make stuff that we can share, but so much of what I've been making lately either has cacao nibs or avocado or both so I make them their own stuff, though I no longer cook anything for them; I eat raw, they eat raw! They really love their food, too. ;) The-love-of-my-Queezle would love MY food if I let her have it, but like I said, many things I make these days have avos or cacao, thus are a no-no for the birdies.

I also have a pit bull that ignores the birds except when they have food. Then the birdies are really interesting because they're always throwing things out of their dishes! <lol>

I just traded a cage full of breeding cockatiels for a red headed conure female named Scarlet. I also have Charlie, my blue quaker, who i've had a couple years now. He is my baby! I've always had birds, smallest being finches, largest being the Macaws & other birds I worked with when I lived at the Zoo, and a cockatoo we boarded at home for several months. I was forever rescuing baby birds that fell out of nests when I was a kid too.

I love birds but the ones I feed are wild. They tend to enjoy any disasters I have with nut and fruit recipes and the thrushes love soaked sultanas. They are also partial to coconut meat and fat. Living on the north sea english coast I spend a lot of time bird watching locally and also have seagulls raising their young on my roof.

    Default Hi Mischa!

I may have three parakeets in my apartment, but I have all the wild birds in my neighborhood visiting me because I throw my dehydrator disasters out on my little patio for them. Aren't birds lovely? :)

We have two parrots, both are Blue-Front Amazons. They absolutely LOVE all their fruits and veggies. Their new passion right now are sprouts, lol. They can't get enough of them.

I've had my ears open for years now, for an umbrella needed a new home (I want one oh so badly) but, so far I've only gotten "close". One day I'll have my dream bird!

We have two African Greys (Divi, 11 and Gizmo 9), four cockatiels, (12-19 years old), a lovebird (Peaches, 18 years); a budgie, Sunny; 7 finches, and a dove we have had for almost 20 years! We also have chickens, a couple ducks, and a couple geese in the yard! And they all remembered me when I got out of the hospital after 2 1/2 months! They all love fresh greens and seeds.
