Low Blood Pressure...
Now what foods can help if your blood pressure is too low? This isn't for me, but it's for my mom. Just curious about it?
I would think if you wanted to raise your Blood Pressure, you would use foods containing High Sodium Levels. Now did you mean a Low Blood Count? They are two different things...............

Nope I mean blood pressure is low...
My normal blood pressure has been very low. It seems to be normal for me except that I cannot donate blood because i faint due to a low blood pressure.
Even on raw, I seem to have a low blood pressure. I am talking about 90/70-65
So your mom when you say her blood pressure too low, is this a recent thing or she has tendency to have low blood pressure? If she is tired, she will have a low blood pressure, in this case, i would say to rest. If this isn't normal for her to have low blood pressure, I got a good feeling about the raw diet for her, because it will boost her energy.
You need to worry about high blood pressure because this is very hard on your body and can lead to serious complication. I am not sure what low blood pressure could do to your body except that you cannot loose blood and some other get tire easily. Speaking for myself, I trained and exercised without eating raw and i was fine and actually felt great when doing exercise. Now with this raw diet, i am full of energy and vitality EVEN without training.

Tomatos and celery
I saw and had a similar question soon after going raw. My daughter especially would get up and feel dizzy upon standing. Then I started. I read that tomatos and celery have higher levels of sodium and can help with that. That has been true for me when I am including lots of tomatos in my diet.
What is exactly her blood pressure reading? I did not measure mine lately, but I do not use any salt, and last time I was on this my blood pressure was 100/50 or 90/50, but I felt great. Maybe I will measure soon and tell you how it is now - today is my 11th day on no salt, low fat, just fresh veggies and fruits.
As long as you feel ok, then there is nothing to worry about. If all of a sudden your blood pressure drops to whats "norm" for you, then Id be concerned. However everyone is different. You can double check with your MD for certainty if desired, but low blood pressure is not uncommon, especially in fit individuels. Mine runs about 68/54 or so consistantly.
Is it a bad thing her blood pressure's low? I mean, does it bothers her in any way? It doesn't have to be a problem at all.
In my case, I have very low blood pressure, so low in fact, a fitness trainer once freaked out when he messured it.
However, it runs in the family, and none of us has problems with it.
Only when I'm really tired, I can get a little dizzy at times, but that's that.
I feel better in general when eating raw, and have more energy, but I don't know what it does for my blood pressure.

Mine is low as well but I do not worry about it. I was hospitalised recently and when they read my pressure first thing in the morning it was 80/50 and everyone but me went in to a panic.
I think that maybe their perception of normal may be a bit off.
There is sufficient in the world for man's need, but not for his greed.
What is normally the reason for low blood pressure? A couple of years ago they mentioned that my BP was really low, and I have noticed I get tired and dizzy at times.
Tell her to move to L.A. That'll raise her BP faster then anything I know of.. especially at rush hour!!
Licorice is supposed to help...at least they tell people with high BP to avoid it! Perhaps talk to an herbalist, as there are herbs for everything...
Licorice, really? Licorice is not considered raw though, correct?
