Default Has anyone had "sweet potato juice"?

If so did you add anything to it or did you just drink it straight?
    I have loads of them.
    Thanks for the help.

Nope, I've never thought of juicing sweet 'taters. I'm curious too!

I juice them with oranges & ginger. Quite yummy. :) You could sprinkle fresh nutmeg on top too. And you could throw the whole thing in the blender after that with a banana too.

    Default Had them

Yes, I had them in my juice this morning. I had 1 large sweet potato, 2 small apples, 1 inch of ginger, and probably 3 small handfulls of spinach. It was very good. I could taste the sweet potato the most. Kinda semi sweet and frothy.

  8. Default sweet potato juice

The basic recipe I use for sweet potato juice comes from Jay Kordich's book. Basically, juice 3-4 carrots together with 1 or 2 inches worth of sweet potato. It is great for the skin, but might not help you burn through your supply of sweet potatoes. You could make sweet potato chips in the dehydrator though.

I love it straight or with carrot and spinach. It's heavenly and makes your drinks taste slightly like chocolate milk!

Yes, and it is beautiful. I juice a half of a large sweet potato with one carrot and one orange and now, one apple. It is so gorgeous.
