A few docs believe I have Lyme and I am wondering how you are making out with the RAW diet?

I was diagnosed with Lyme last year. Took the abx for 2 weeks and had to go off due to severe reaction. Switched to an hebal protocol and raw food. Don't know if I have cured it per se, but my symptoms are GREATLY reduced. When I am high raw, I don't have symptoms and if I do I barely noticed. SAD food? Full blown symptoms. That has been my experience.

FInd a doc who is familiar with Lyme, and they will be open to you trying jsut about anything as they know how insidious Lyme is. There are many websites with info as well. Good luck!

Just wondering which antibiotic you were using as I had a severe reaction last year (that continues to persist) to an antibiotic that is a member of the class that is often used to treat Lyme....

Oh, OK that is a sketchy one too...I have taken that in the past with no *apparent* problems but the one I reacted to last year was in a different class/family and caused nerve issues (peripheral neuropathy), vision problems, toxic psychosis, vertigo, sun allergy, and a host of other systemic maladies...and I only took 3 pills....

Your experience confirms for me that this type of reaction can happen with any type of antibiotic...

    Thanks for the reply :)

Wow, no symptoms when raw??? How about with carbs, such as grains, potatoes? What are SAD food?

I would love to find an herbalist locally. Which herbs?
