    Default Pregnancy Brown Spots

Has anyone experienced brown spots popping up on their face during or after pregnancy? If so, is there anything to add (or eliminate) from your diet to help get rid of these? I read that they are due to a hormone change, so I'm wondering if adding MACA to a diet would help. What about high doses of vitamin C or daily wheat grass juice - drinking it and putting pulp on the skin?? Thanks in advance.

Congrats on the soon-to-be family addition! With re: to the maca, I would be a little leary of taking it while pregnant, and is really something you have to discuss with your own health practitioner. As for the pregnancy mask/spots - they will eventually fade/disappear after delivery. In the interim, you could try using lemon juice and/or makeup to even out the complexion. I also heard that fruits rich in vitamin C are suppose to be helpful ~ Cathy.
