I do not have a dog yet, but my friend tried to feed her dog raw meat and she(the dog) got fluke type parasites. My friend has a baby, so she got scared and feeds her dog dried stuff again. How do you deal with that problem?

Hi there,
All of my pets (two dogs, a cat and two rats) are 100% and all are in excellent health and have been for several years. Putting your dog on a 100% raw meaty bones diet is the absolute best thing you can do for her. If you need more specific info on what/how to feed raw, you can find lots of info online, there are several raw dog yahoo groups. I also highly recommend the consultation services of a wonderful raw teacher who also specializes in feeding dogs and cats raw, Nora Lenz. You can find her info at her website:www.rawschool.com.
