    Default Magic Bullet!

So I leave for school in a week and will be living in an apartment this year, and I decided that I'd need a blender and a food processor. Rather than spending the money for both, I decided I'd get a magic bullet hahaha...gotta love the infomercial. I can use it as a blender to make smoothies, and I can even use it to mix up dressings and other things--even pulse up some nuts and dates if I want to make a dessert or something....I'm kind of excited hahaha

I love, love, love my magic bullet. I also have a vita mix but I use the heck out of my magic bullet every day.

I think they should have advertised it as the raw foodists best friend. lol

Although one does not have to have a magic bullet, For $50 it is a great investment. (imo)

My son bought me a magic bullet for Mother's Day and I use it regularly for smaller amounts. I love it and it works so well!

I love my magic bullet too ... I'm taking it to the house me and my friends are renting next year for school ... Just make sure if your grinding something like dates and nuts for a recipe to NOT leave the bullet locked for more than a minute because it will overheat and stop ... I just keep pulsing mine and then taking it off, mixing with a spoon, and pulsing until I'm satisfied :)

great point you made....yes, be sure not to leave it on long. It will over heat. But if you pulse it, it works great! I have had mine over a year now and it still works like a charm. A real work horse. :)

I love my Magic Bullet too! The best part is the cups. I can fill them up with smoothie ingredients the night before with the lid on in the fridge. In the morning, I just take the lid off, snap the blades on, blend it up and snap the travel lid back on to drink in the car. Great if you're not a morning person and every second counts.:)

I use all the attachments to my magic bullet! The smaller cup is just perfect for my salad dressings! I love to make two drinks in the morning. I drink one on the way to work and put the lid on the other and that is my lunch along with some fruit (a texas sized peach today) It was sooooo good. The magic bullet keeps me organized as I too store my fixings in the cups and in the morning, I grab them from the fridge and zip, zap, I'm ready to go.
I have fresh watermelon juice in the (blender)pitcher that comes with it. :-)

I have one. I use it mainly for grinding flax, but also to make smoothies for my daughter. It only makes a small amount though.

    Default disappointed - help

I got mine and unlike the infomercial - it takes a few tries to get it to blend ice - I have to keep taking it off base and shaking and restirring the ice

is this the same with everyone or do have a faulty bullet

thinking of taking it back b/c it seem like more effort than the cheap $9 mini foodprocesser I got - but I'd really like it top work for me

I just love my Magic Bullet also! I guess I dont need to go buy a food processor. It does everything! I would like to get a spiral slicer and maybe a food dehydrator someday when I learn more about how to do that. I've been raw 1 week so far. I am still learning!

i love my magic bullet too death. mine recently died. the plastic piece inside broke off (grinding rock hard dates). i would suggest that people get the extended warranty for 15 bucks that is advertised in the recipe book.
i forgot to add that i had it for 2+ years and took it out of country and everywhere i traveled. i recently bought an imposter, it was the biggest mistake because i know how fast the magic bullet is and the imposter could not compare with the strength. mine would still be alive if i stopped it after it was getting stuck on the dates but i turned it off 2 seconds to late .

I love my magic bullet too. I saw it several times on infomercials and never bought it. Then I finally decided to buy it. I'm happy I did, it is so convenient.
