Question Unrefined Shea Butter - grainy?

I bought some unrefined pure shea butter and it is very grainy. Is this how it is suppose to be or did I order it from a bad place?

    How's it smell?

Usually it will get grainy when it's melted and hardened a time or two. If it smells nice and nutty and it's yellowish and not pure white, should be o.k.

Does it look like crumbly cheese?
It should be a sort of beigey colour. as Revvel said, it shouldn't be pure white if it is unrefined!
