    Question Bruising?!?

Hi. I have always been prone to bruising (always been a tomboy) but since going raw I seem to be noticing even more???

Is there some nutrient that I'm missing, or certain foods which help heal them?

Any advice would be great, thanks.:)

MSM, Vitamin K....those are what I've always heard of.

Darn - me too! I mean I used to bruise very easily and now - no. In fact I was using the handcart at work and banged my right shin - WHAM into it, had a hell of a knot and it started bruising, but the next morning both the knot AND bruise were gone. I don't know what to say to add. I know water intake and dry skin brushing helps skin (our biggest organ) tremendously.
    You know what's coming next:

    two words: green smoothies...

Wow, that's some great info. I do take many of the supplements listed except for zink and K. I should be getting enough fruits and veggies (AND YES Green Smoothies).

But hopefully they will start to go away, it's only been 30+ days. How long did it take before your bruise-tendency went away???

For me, after moving towards raw:
For the first six months, the bruising got WORSE (and I bruised alot before), but then I realized I wasn't getting much vitamin K or Iron.
I took a look at my food intake and it was obvious why - I didn't eat many greens at all.
it was weird, because I would have dreams about cucumbers, but it never occured to me that I was deficient.
ANYWAYS now I don't bruise at all

For me I'd say about six months into being 100% raw...
