Default Raw Spirit Festival - Kid Friendly???

Does anyone know how kid friendly the Raw Spirit Festival is? I emailed Happy, the main person to contact for the event, but I haven't heard back from her yet. I would like my dh and kids to come with me, but I don't know how well they would do. My sons are 4 yrs and 2 yrs and they aren't all raw, but they are vegan. My dh is very supportive of me being raw, but he told me that he's not really interested in going. He said he'd look at the vendors but wouldn't want to hear the lectures. So, I have to decide if I want to go by myself (which will be tough since I've never left my kids) or have them come but maybe extend our trip and make it more of a family vacation. Also, I'm not sure I want to go by myself either.

Who is going and are any of you bring your children and do you live in Southern California ( I live in Orange County)?

    Thanks!
    Shelly

Hi there! Sorry for the confusion, the Raw Spirit Festival is in Sedona, Arizona. Here's their website http://www.rawspiritfest.com/

For those of you who were going, I was wondering who was from Southern California....maybe we could get together before the festival????

    Default bumping it up!

bumping it up again for those who are interested.

I got a hold of Laura (she's managing part of the festival) and she said it's very kid friendly and the Boutenko's are in charge of the kid's tent and the activities. She said they'll be teaching kids how to sprout, do crafts, and exercise. Also, one of the chefs has kids so there will be kid friendly raw meals for them. It sounds like a lot of fun. I'm going to try to convince my dh that we all need to go. I think it would be great for him to learn more info on Raw Foods and maybe he'll be more inclined to change his diet.

    anyone going?
