    Default buckwheat contradictions!

a couple days ago i soaked by buckwheat, and then just did as alissa suggests and put it in a bowl with a paper towel on top. ive been rinsing it and everything, but, it still hasnt sprouted!

i looked on the sprout peoples website and they say to soak it for only 20-60 minutes and that over soaking can mean that it may never sprout!

i followed alissas instructions and soaked for SIX HOURS...........

could this be why is itnt sprouting?
can i dehydrate them anyways or are they ruined?

They don't sprout traditionally like others seeds/grains do. They get an ever so slight "nub" (if you will). Yes, use them now - they'll be fine!

that's weird, though...I soak mine for 24 hours and they definitely sprout...I'm sure yours are fine, though.

Maybe they got heated and are no longer raw? No clue!
