    Default getting tan with acne scars

    I have bad cystic acne scars and was wondering if getting a tan would darken the scars? i thought about putting a little blob of sunblock on the scars when getting sun on my face so that the skin around the scars darkens but not the scar... what do you think?

    They use light treatment for acne scars to lessen the effect, so I think you're golden...literally. Plus if you apply spf I would do it evenly so you don't look blotchy, that would probably draw more attention to the problem.

    PS. I've been using mederma on some other scars which seems to be working very well. Perhaps you might see relief with this?
