    Default Natural Zing Potluck pictures

What a great day! Perfect weather, incredible food, and rawesome people. It was so wonderful to meet VeganForLife, Dreamrawlz, RawDiva and AnAbbyTree.

Here's some pics. Jeff and Helen, the gracious hosts and owners of Natural Zing, along with their beautiful son Sundance, gave us a tour and showed us how easy it is to grow your own food, whether you live on 5 acres or in an apartment. If you're in the Maryland/VA/DC area, I'd highly recommend getting to their next potluck, which is in August.

Oh we did! The food was amazing. The folks were incredible and meeting four of the gals from this forum was really cool! I will post some photos on Monday from work as there is no way I can upload them from this dial up here at home. I'll get spider webs all over me waiting for them to upload. Shoot! It takes me over an hour to download Revvell and Alissa's Rawkin Radio broadcasts!!! So Monday I'll post some - food fotos too!!! It was all incredible! The weather was perfect. Natural Zing's farm is really cool! I highly recommend attending a raw luck dinner in your area if you can. It's very cool sharing ideas, foods, and information. I learned a lot there today!!! Glad I went!!!

    Wow, that was quick!

There was SO much food. Probably 5-10 dishes were not pictured. There were a lot of people that came in after it all started too. I looked around and thought "where did all these people come from!?" haha. It was a fun experience. It's really nice when you meet real people with like interests and believes you have, they're not just on the computer ;)

There was a chocolate pie at the end and I ate it. I'm not much of a chocolate person, but it was VERY good probably because it wasnt sweet. It had a bitter taste. Anywya, whatever was in that made me talk ALLLLLL the way home. I'm not one that talks. It took me almost the entire time there to warm up to people and when I finally got to talking with RawVee and Veganforlife my mom said we had to go Boo. I want to meet up with the group again. It was fun.

I'm so upset I missed this, I wouldnt have been able to make it until well past 7 because of work and I figured everything would be pretty much over by then. Remind us about the next one? The food, farm, and especially you ladies - looked beautiful!

Yay! What a great day! I wish I could have stayed the whole time. Thanks for posting your pictures ladies. We'll have to do it again soon.

P.S. I got back just in time to run to the show. It was well worth staying for the pie!

I think if you go to their website you can sign up for a newsletter and event information. As I understand it, they have a potluck once a month.
