I am going to try this tomorrow. Just one question - how long after eating should I wait, and can I drink water before?

After OP you should drink a cup or two of water and then you can eat.
No, you shouldn't drink water before.

Why do you not drink water before? I ALWAYS drink a cup of water before, and I've been doing it for almost four years with success. I'd love to know if this is something I should stop, but it seems to be working...

AWESOME to hear from you both!! So cool! It's a wonder dentists never know about this!

Jonny, I always have an empty stomach but do drink a class of water. Otherwise, I find that I am parched the whole time b/c I tend to do it a bit longer than 20 minutes. I'm waiting to see why January Noir says it's not OK. But that's my experience in any case.

    Did you try it yet??

I no longer have bouts of pain coming from my wisdom tooth. The sensitivity is almost gone now. Also I have a little hard build up on my lower teeth in the front and it is slowly coming off. This is so cool!

Before I started OPing, I went to a website and my recollection is that the instructions said to drink water after. I could be wrong, but that's what I remember. If drinking water before OPing works for you, then by all means continue!

Update: The sensitivity and pain are completely gone. Now I am working on this stubborn build up. Has anyone witnessed hard buildup releasing from thier teeth. I have a little bit on three of my bottom front teeth. Its better but not gone completely. Would I need a dentist remove it?

Could OP trigger a detox effect?
After restarting OP, a very large painful bump has appeared in my mouth below a tooth that was previously worked on. Could this be toxins trying to escape through that route?
I have continued OP hoping to rid myself of this infection.
Also, should I be using EV sesame oil or EV coconut oil?

How long do you do this? Everyday? What about for children, is it safe? Thanks!

I don't know for sure, but that's what the OP sites I've visited indicated that toxins will come out.

One of the two recommended oils is Sesame oil.

Makes fine enough sense. I figure the only time it's really not good is WHILE oil pulling! ::giggle::

So cool! I have no idea about the dentist, but seems like it may resolve itself if you continue? But I don't want to be the reason you have any crazy problems! lol!

TOTALLY! I have had many detox effects from OP that were generally very brief and followed by intense relief. I hope you see relief soon too! If not already!!

I do it for an hour or two every morning and on occasion at night too. I would NOT have children do it unless they REALLY understand what to do and would use only half a teaspoon if they are doing it. That's just me!

That's my fave! Although... coconut has a nicer flavor!

Default Just started a couple days ago and had some questions

What really got me was the testimonials like gum regrowth, hair thickening, bad breath elimination with OP. How long does it take? I bought the spectrum, organic sesame seed oil expeller pressed. according to spectrum, the expellered press is the cold press. is this true? How long did it take for gum regrowth or hair blackening and thickening? I know it's been 4 years from the first post, but I would really like to know! Thx.
