Yesterday was the day I decided to get serious about improving my overall health and well being! That makes TODAY Day 2 of my decision to commit to the healthiest diet on the planet ~ raw foods! This is something I've been thinking about for a very long while.
Soooo, hello from Eastern Long Island! Glad to become a part of what appears to be a fantastic community of health minded women and men and probably some pretty terrific kids also. :)
This decision of mine is long overdue.. I have not been functioning at my full potential for some time now. I believe that eating raw foods can and will make a difference. My hope is that I will lose the extra pounds (56 of them to be exact) and that the symptoms of depression that creep in every now and then will lessen. Outside of that, I look forward to meeting other people sharing a similar quest and the opportunity to exchange ideas, support, recipes and the like.
