    Smile Hello everyone!

    Hello everyone!

I am a 31-year-old girl from the UK who's been dabbling with raw food before. Unfortunately, I couldn't quite make it stick then, but now that I've found this great forum, I'm sure it will!

I have just started up a blog where I will document my raw journey, the address is http://powerofraw.blogspot.com. Hope you will visit!

I have just completed a set of colonics combined with fasting and feel really clean on the inside now - and ready for a total lifestyle overhaul! My hydrotherapist also gave me the "recipe" for a gallbladder cleanse which she's used before, so I will try that one out just before I break my fast. (Starting today, actually! There will be nothing but apple juice in my hands when I go to the Harry Potter 5 premiere in a few hours!) I will try to type up the recipe on my blog, if anyone should be interested.

I'd also love to get into foraging - I live in a pretty rural area and I saw there was a great thread here about it. Will have to try to get hold of some books!

I work from home so I'm pretty free to do what I want, when I want! My beautiful English Springer Spaniel keeps me company and gets me away from my desk a few times per day, which is great. (He's only 6 months old, so he needs lots of short walks every day.) My fiancé works shifts, so we get to spend quite a lot of time together in the middle of the weeks and we love going camping then, as we get the campsites more or less to ourselves!

Anyway, I think I have been rambling on for quite some time now! Sorry! Looking forward to getting to know you all!

    Love, Indie :)

Talking Thank you all so much for the warm welcome!

You know it's a good board when you get that kind of welcome!

    Hi and Welcome.
If you pick up any info on forraging be sure to share as it is something that I want to get into as well. I am considering doing a day long seminar on it in Sept.
If you find any good books on it let me know.

    Hi Sport,

and thank you for the welcome!

I found some info on foraging online recently, it's a list of what to pick and when that was published in the Guardian. You will find it on my blog (the link is in my signature).

I hope you'll share any info you find on the subject, too, as I'm completely new to it! :)

    Thanks again,

    Indie :)
