    Default Raw Food + Disease

    Hi,
My doctors have told me that my disease is incurable because they do not know what causes it in the first place. Well to me that means I can cure/reverse it. I have macular degeneration and i am only 30. There is no family history and the only thing that I think has caused this is my total lack of respect and mistreatment of my body for the last 15 years. My eating and exercise habits were atrocious and I have been obese most of my adult life.

I've recently started on a 70% raw food diet, which is a huge change from the mostly junk/processed eating habits i had before. Ive lost 11kgs in 5 weeks, my skin has cleared up. I still have greek yogurt, cheese and eggs, but I have added a lot of raw foods to my meals.

The reason I have converted over to eating more raw foods is in the hopes that it will cure my so called incurable disease. I have been told that the human body can regenerate any part of our body but the teeth. Yet the doctors claim that my condition cannot, that once those cells have died thats it tough luck. I was just wondering if anyone else here has had an incurable diagnosis and have succesffuly reversed their disease using the healing power of raw foods and how long it took to see improvment?

    Much appreciated.

Well if they don't know what causes your disease, how do they know that it is incurable??

Anyway, I would start juicing lots of fresh organic carrots. If you don't have a good juicer, it is worth the investment. I would do a minimum of 3/ 10 oz glasses a day. More is better. I will do some more investigating and see what I can find.
Keep adding more raw foods too like veggies and fruits.

i agree about the juice - add some greens in there too, as much as you can
i know someone who had a similiar problem, her eyesight was 20/300 or something crazy like that and she began juicing 3x/day (just that, not even going raw) and this was 2 years ago and within a few months her eyesight improved and now it is 20/30 or almost 20/20 and she is transitioning to a more raw diet and needs to juice less.
good luck and you are not stuck with this diagnosis - you can heal yourself!
