I have a large Kitchen Aid, it is amazing how often I fill it up and it is only me eating. It does have a smaller bowl you can put on it, but I rarely use it. If you can afford it I would get the larger one.

    Thumbs up

    Aloha and Welcome !

I like the larger fp's... only cuz it allows me to make larger portions of things like onion bread or flax seed crackers, (and those keep for a while). Keeps my supply of 'staples' up. I thought about just getting the smaller one myself at first - cuz it's only be (primairly) eating raw - but I'm so glad I got the larger one - cuz dh does eat a lot of my stuff!!

I also got the smaller dehydrator (the 5 drawer excaliber) and I am so sorry I did... I so wish I had gotten the 9 drawer!! I just never thought I would need more trays... but boy do I!!

blessings on your journey - I look forward to reading more of your posts!!

    Hi,
I am wondering if I need a new food processer.

I noticed a lot of recipies have called for processing the nuts to fine powder, mine doesn't do that, it get's fine and grainy then damp and ball-y.

Mine is old and was given to me, but when I go to get a new one, I'll get the biggest one and best one. I use that every day and my 9 tray dehydrater almost every day!

Yes, definitely go with a bigger FP. You won't be disappointed. I use four appliances more then any others:

    Big mouth Hamilton Beach FP
    9 tray Excalibur dehydrator
Soy Milk (soyquick brand) (got it from Maraw's web site - http://therawtable.com/tools2.htm)
    Vita-Mix 4500
