Default HSN critique of Urban Rebounder

I was looking up the UR and came across it for $100 on HSN-the problem is the reviews are awful!!
Does anyone own this particular one-and are you happy with it??
You can see the reviews if you go to the link below.

Okay this is funny..well embarrasing and funny I suppose but I didn't know (or either forgot) that these were called rebounders (just saw the pic)...I had one about 3 years ago. I think I gave it away when I moved....I'm treating myself to that urban rebounder at the end of this month or maybe next month...probably next month due to my budget:)
It's okay to be a work in progress as long as you progress!

I just got one last night. A client of mine bought an Urban Rebounder on Ebay, used it like twice, and decided she was too old for the workout. So she asked me if I'd like to buy it from her....I can't afford it right now, so we traded my services...she get's a few free haircuts which take me 1/2 hour of my time each...and I get a brand spankin' new rebounder....The video it comes with is really hard...I think I did it for 20 mins, and then cramped up. I figure I'll learn the basic moves, then strap my mp3 on and do my own thing!! I loved it!!

I hate mine - its so hard it hurts when I land on it, and there's so little bounce, it really jars my whole body. And its really difficult to bounce on it. Are rebounders supposed to be like that??? I mean does being less bouncy make them better exercise??? I used to adore jumping on trampolines when I was little, I could have done it for hours. But I gave up trying to use my rebounded after a few weeks, it was too hard.
Maybe its because I have a disease that makes me extremely weak, or maybe because I don't have much muscle/am light, or maybe I just have a rubbish rebounder???? Other people seem to love rebounding. Maybe I need a new one???

I do it when commercials come on the tellie. Sometimes when I go home for lunch and my doggies are eating. Whenever I feel like it.

Actually from urban rebounding (the kind I have)? The secret is to not really land hard, but use your thighs and legs to PUSH off the rebounder, then land softly. I have very low ceilings and HAVE to do it the way rebounding was meant to be done. Your head and body should not be bouncing too high at all. Imagine just pushing down hard with your legs and springing (slightly) upward. Hard to explain, but if you do it in front of a mirror, watch your head and upper body. You don't wanna move that all that much. It's more leg workout. Not just merely jumping.

I used to have a cheap rebounder and then I moved up to a Needak rebounder and it is a pleasure to bounce on it. I have the "soft-bounce" model. Here's a link if you want to look at it:

That's the one I have. I haven't used it yet because I read that you can go into detox pretty quickly unless you take it slowly. Since I already have been getting over a cold (or maybe detox), I was trying to wait because I wanted to know if additional 'symptoms' were the result of the rebounding or not.

They should put a sign on the rebounder that says "shake well before using" so that when people see it in the morning it would remind them to start their day with a bounce to get their lymph fluids moving.

Yep, and after that I like to step on there for a quick shake up frequently throughout the day. :)
