MA Event Announced - Workshops

Spring is nature's cycle to rejuvenate. It is the Perfect Time for you to become inspired, energized and re-educated on how to clean house with your body and establish a higher level of life-force energy eating in your life!
For over 12 Years now, I have been encouraging myself, wife and 2 children, now 17 and 20, to eat predominantly raw foods; mostly by example, and stocking/offering healthy raw choices. It has been well worth the effort, as today they are vegetarian and mostly raw by choice and often prepare their own meals or help out in our kitchen. Colds and flu's are almost non-existent in the household. Family members are sensitive to what works and doesn't. We know how we like to feel (energetic, healthy, clear) and like feeling that way so much we always come back to mostly raw. While we have 4 different body types, the vote is unanimous, we feel vastly more vibrant, happy and healthy when our food is vibrant!
The classes are a great opportunity for anyone TO BEGIN leaning and creating gourmet raw foods. As one of my customers recently said ‘This workshop gives you SO MUCH to work with!’. Take advantage of my next Workshop on June 23rd, which is sure to be a lot of fun and VERY practical for those wanting to pursue a more 'raw' lifestyle but don't know how to find the time, or get past the learning curve. It is perfect for beginners and yet also very helpful for more 'seasoned' natural eaters. With typical crowd of 25 (our last 3 classes have sold out by the last day), this day also insures excitement, networking and meeting other great people in the area on a similar path. There is ample time for mingling before, at food breaks and after.
One of the joys of spring is going for a walk and dining out on a beautiful June evening. Which you can do at Organic Garden every night (except Monday when we are closed). With cloth dinner napkins (evening), candlelit tables, background jazz sounds, and uniformed wait staff, you dine in style at the OG.

* REVIEW: How to set up your kitchen for gourmet raw food preparation
* REVIEW: How to soak/sprout and handle all types of seeds, nuts and grains for your recipes
* REVIEW: Principles of safe and effective dehydration
* Handling your produce to ripen and store properly
* Planning your meals for the day. Storing leftovers.
* Produce handling tips, and more.
Middle 1 1/2 Hours - DEHYDRATED RECIPES
Dehydrated Entree & Appetizer items: Burgers, Falafel, Pizza and Crackers
Last 2 hours of WORKSHOP - more Recipe Training
* A Taste of Italian and Mediterranean
* Soups: Corn Chowder, Zucchini Lemon Bisque, Tomato Herb
* Spreads, Sauces & dressings - incl: Hummus, Goddess, 'almond cheese'
* BASIC Principles of making desserts (cookies, macaroons, power bars, granola)
* Pies
