The sun is gone down and I could not get a good before pic now and by the time the sun comes back up the grey will be gone.

I chose to stop coloring my hair (I was blonde) last year. I really do miss my blonde But my gray is pretty and I get compliments on it. There are times though, I still think about coloring it again cuz I feel pretty washed out as I'm very fair complected... (sigh) If there was a safe, all natural hair color, I'd probably go back to blonde in a NY minute! *Ü*

Thanks for the welcome, Sport. I looked at your link: your spa retreat looks divine.

Thank you. The sad part is that I ordinarily live in Ireland and do not get to spend much time there.

Part of the reason that I gave in and coloured my hair is that my son is getting married in June. I have already made it clear to his future wife that I will be only a passive participant as I have no time for pomp and ceremony but I felt that letting my hair go grey (for the sake of 2 months) would be showing a disregard for them.
So you all see that I have an excuse.

Default Got rid of the old

2 weeks ago i had what was left of my hair shaved off so the new growth can be seen, becauuse the old hair was most of the toxic diet i had before so as i become more clean i am hoping for better growth and qualitly. I only used to have my hair cut twice a year because i only had a small amount of growth.
I have only shared this with 2 people and now with you all. Only i no whats going on under my wig.

I'm 50, and I've been in menopause for a year and a half. After 2 weeks raw, I had a cycle, and have since had another. I truly believe I was so toxic, my hormones were all screwed up.

I've been raw for about 3 months. I've had a few instances of eating cooked and I've paid the price. My body literally can't handle it! I also think I had issues with dairy. I never thought I could live without cheese, but amazingly, I really haven't missed it.

I'm reading up on doing a liver cleanse. That will be my next step, however, I want to do it while at home, and I will be out of town the next couple of weekends.

So glad there is a thread for us! Stay raw!

I am 51, my husband is 50, we are just getting started on Raw-Living foods. Both of us were raised on meat and potatoes and he is having a bit of a challenge wrapping his head around leaving that behind, but it SHALL be done. It looks like one day at a time is the best way to go. I am excited to learn from so many of you that have been doing this for awhile.

I am about 80% raw now, because I do eat a little meat on weekends when I cook for the family, etc. A lot of times I simply do not have the foods in the home I need. I am really good at work and during the week, because I eat mostly salad and a fruit salad in the am and I am trying to be more inventive with foods for a raw diet in the pm. I do feel a little better but still need to continue to keep away from meat on weekends....many of it is just taste testing.

I'm 58 years old now and still trying to get to 100% raw. Doing better this time around. I crave fruits and veggies now and have weaned myself off of grains. Keep on keeping on !!
