I think you can tell a lot about how old a person is, and I don't mean chronalogically, by looking at whats in their grocery cart. Eat healthy and be healthy.

I turned 50 in May. I am striving to be 100% raw. I lost 10 lbs in a month and am interested in losing at least 10 more. I have no symptoms for menopause yet, at least not that I know of....I do feel a lot better if I stick to an all raw diet.

    Hi Mothergoose...I like your nick~

I had four mega bunches of bananas in my cart Saturday as well as papaya, oranges, spinach, etc...a food demo person said to me as I walked past,

"Geez that's a LOT of bananas, !!!".....I just smiled and said, yup..

Not upset here. Takes something, like, oh I don't know, um a Tsunami to upset me? World hunger?

Getting closer to 50 and looking forward to it - I'm 45 (although most people think I'm 36-38) and having fun dating a very flirtatious & sexy 74 year old - go figure :) I plan to look better at 50 than I did at 30. Healthier and happier too!! More power to us all!

That is funny! I get comments all the time.

I buy huge amounts, though, to feed all of us.

I buy a 40 lb. box of bananas, 16 lb. box of peaches etc. We will buy three watermelons at a time or 7 cantaloupe. Plus we will have pounds and pounds of grapes, lettuce etc...

It always amazes me the things people ask me.

"What are you going to do with all of these ......"?

The only thing I say now is "Eat them."

People don't quite know how to respond when we say this. What do they think we are going to do?

    Hi everyone,
Hope everyone is enjoying their summer. With all the fresh food and farmer's markets right now it's a raw fooder's heaven.
I went out and bought every green food, plant, berry, and twig that I thought I would need to eat at the beginning of the month but wow I learned a lessen, a lot went bad before I could eat it even sharing it with the dogs, so now I'm shopping every other day for what I feel like eating fresh and that is working so much better for me.

Hello, I have'nt been here for a couple of weeks. I went on a retreat with a bunch of women in the mountains. We do this every 6 to 7 weeks. I really got off track. I ate junk and more junk. Usually there's more natural foods to eat. I dont know what happened. I'm definately going to bring my own next time. I'm always very strong and in control but I blew it. So...I'm beating myself up. I need to catch up here so I'll post tomorrow.

I'm here. Just been observing lately. Think that I will start a 3 day juice fast today and do some house (body) cleaning out. My sinuses are bothering me again. Probably because I have been a bad girl lately.
