The Parasite Cleanse - Important
I think that all parasite cleanses have value. But I posted this info for the sake of awareness -- that there are three main herbs that are known to be effective, especially when taken together.
About the herbal Parasite Cleanse:
Getting rid of parasites would be absolutely impossible using clinical medicines that each can kill only one or two parasites. Such medicines also tend to make you quite ill. Flagyl is used for amoebas and Giardia; when the correct dosage is used, it can cause extreme nausea and vomiting. Imagine taking ten such drugs to kill a dozen of your parasites!
Good news, perhaps, for the drug makers but not for you. Yet three herbs can rid you of over 100 types of parasites! And without so much as a headache! Without nausea! Without any interference with any drug that you are already on! Does this sound too fantastic? Just too good to be true? They are natures gift to us. Follow the Parasite Cleanse including:
* Black Walnut Hulls (from the black walnut tree)
* Wormwood (Super W Blend) (from the Artemisia shrub)
* Common Cloves (from the clove tree)
These three herbs must be used together. Black walnut hull and wormwood kill adults and developmental stages of at least 100 parasites. Cloves kill the eggs. Only if you use them together will you rid yourself of parasites. If you kill only the adults, the tiny stages and eggs will soon grow into new adults. If you kill only the eggs, the million stages already loose in your body will soon grow into adults and make more eggs. They must be used together as a single treatment.

Do you know anything about the cycles? Like take 'em for two weeks and then a week off for the next round to hatch or something like that. And I've heard it's best to take the parasites flushes around the time of the full-moon when they're most active, huh?

I saw pictures of them once. Horrible! I did some research on these 3 main herbs. I remember the blessed herb thread going on for awhile. At the time, I wasn't looking a into parasite cleanse closely. They had packages or cleanse kits going for $98. The same site where I got this info -- Dr Hulda Clark -- was offering the equivelant (I believe) for $44.95.
Alissa quotes the Hulda Clark site directly in her post on the liver cleanse. So that makes me feel more confident in referring others to the site.

Hi RC - I wouldn't count on GNC. If you have a Whole Foods Market within reach, they likely would. Otherwise, they could easily be ordered online from any good, reputable herb dealer. I got this info from:
http://www.drhuldaclark.org/therapy_68g.asp
In my initial post, I left this info off because I really don't want to promote any one particular source over another. Also, and though I've only heard good things so far about this source, I haven't yet checked it out fully. I always check to see if they are raw advocates or raw friendly (meaning that their views largely coincide with the raw food philosphy), appear reputable, safe, are not in direct competition to anything Alissa sells.. things like that. But it's pretty hard to keep all things perfect, all the time. There is bound to be some occasional overlap, here and there. I imagine this site deals with the herbs, or has some link to them. I just try to be careful before recommending to my RFT friends.
I do have a Whole Foods Market nearby in Pasadena. I plan to call them today or tomorrow and get some prices. I'll try to keep everyone posted on what I find, plus whatever results I have when I actually do the parasite cleanse. It is said that it's best to do the parasite cleanse BEFORE the liver cleanse. But, I'm not real rigid about the exact order of everything. And Alissa did mention one of these herbs as a good option in her post on the liver cleanse. So that's a good thing. :)
