**I want you to know that I did a search first on green lentil sprouts and I visited the sproutpeople website, but I STILL couldn't find an answer to my question.

I sprouted some green lentils in a large plastic jar covered with cheese cloth for 3 1/2 days by my windowsill. I let them grow longer this time, and now I have cute little green leaves popping up. Unfortunately, I also have some sprouts with little brown specks on the seeds and stems of the sprouts.

PLEASE oh please don't tell me it's...MOLD! I would hate to throw away such a nice crop of sprouts. (The spots remind me of wilted lettuce--so I'm hoping it's not a major issue.) What say you?

Thanks in advance. (I love how this raw community always is so quick to respond to questions.)
