One of the key points about wheatgrass is the age of it... cutting it before the first joint. The nutritional value declines rapidly after this, and it gets bitter. Lawn clippings are not young greens. Also, as with any greens, they need to be varied so as to prevent build up of toxins in the body like oxalic acid. If you've ever had significant volumes of wheatgrass juice daily for any length of time, your body will tell you about this with a gagging sensation or nausea.

I would not eat my lawn but My dogs will! They will not eat ANY thing green accept grass from my back yard I will not let them walk on it cause they will relieve them selves INSTANLY! Its like they see fresh canvas! But they will walk along the pool and eat what they can reach!

If it tastes ok then its ok!

I have St. Augustine grass so I don’t think that’s an edible grass but the stuff that grows from quick grass seed looks very yummy
Remember. We are very blessed in that we get to Choose what we eat. That is better than winning the lottery.
