    Smile London??

    Heyho people!

I am going on a trip to London next week and was wondering if anyone knows nice raw-vegan locations there?

I will be in Camdentown. Can anyone give advice? Are there restauranst or cafés arround? Or something like a veggie/fruitmarket where I can get my fresh food?

    Thank you!

OOOOO I love London. Too bad I was there before I became a vegan or I would help you. I stayed right in the city, about a 10 min walk from Tower bridge.
Camden Town is my most favorite place to visit. You will have TONS of fun there. The shopping is fantastic. I don't really remember any restaurants but there sure are a lot of pubs ;)

Have an awesome trip! (sorry I couldn't be more help...but I will ask my friend who lives over there for some vegan restaurants for you)

hey Punk, just heard back from my friend - there is a raw restaurant in Camden called the Little Earth Cafe...its right near the Chalk Farm tube station.

There is also a chain called Fresh and Wild that sounds like a Whole Foods kind of place (supermarket with cafe, organics etc)

    Have a great trip!

Oh you are so greeeeeeat!! I will live exactly there arround the corner!! Chalk farm road!! I have been in Camden before! It will be great! But it was before raw... so I did not pay attention to food stuff... I was more into drinking

And thanks shooting star! I will check out that site too! What a good possibility to introduce my friend to raw... But since I cant go and eat out three times a day... Does anyone know where to get "normal food" too? well... a supermarket will be there;) but a market or something?

Try the market "Planet Organic"; there is one in Bayswater and two others. Look up their info on their site. www.planetorganic.com. They have an awsome juice bar and great chilled takeaway foods as well as being a market.

Also try the fab shop "Pret a Manger"; its a chain specialising in sandwhiches, soups & wraps and is referred to as "Prets". They are not raw but carry great raw items; it's even worth buying the sandwhiches and just eating the filling on the veggie it's so good. Again look up their site www.pret.com you can then click on "our menu" to see what they have. They are mainly a take out allthough some are also eat-in. Great prices and great fresh quality!

Living in the UK got me started on the whole foods craze. They are VERY VERY open to alternative food choices, more so than here!

    Cheers,

    eppp

Also try contacting www.fresh-network.com They are a UK based raw magazine and I am sure would give you some great siggestions. I have emailed them with queries and have had good responses! Also try contacting Shazzie. www.shazzie.com, if there is nothhing listed on her site shot off a mail.
