    Default money talks

    Hey Tori,

One of many things that I do is that I am a part-time investor and know a lot of investors with money to spend on the right deal. First thing investors like to know about is the bottom line - how profitable a deal would be for them.

How much are you thinking about selling the juice bar for? What is the net income?

Posting the answers to the above two questions might generate a lot more interest, if you really want to sell.

And plus, I do think your post is relevant because a lot of people want to get into a healthy occupation and juice bars do sell raw juices and wheatgrass, etc. And plus, many times buying a turn-key operation is much easier that starting your own business.

    Hey Biff...

    Thanks for the reply.

We just completed our first year in business and pretty much broke even. This year is going to be a totally different story because now the word is out. We can hardly keep up.

When we first started this business, we figured it would be enough for both of us to handle. But now we are seeing that we will need a few employees. We have interest in starting a smaller business (raw catering).

I posted in here because having this business helped us both get healthy and eventually go raw. We are set up for making raw foods now..with a part of the kitchen sectioned off for just that. There was no way at my previous desk job for me to even think of eating healthy. Too much stress and not enough support. But here...we make our own support. And we have green smoothies and raw food here to keep us on track.

There is going to be alot of profit...but the only way for me to show that is for someone to come visit us for a day and see how busy we are. It just recently got overwhelmingly busy for us. I don't have any time to make graphs and charts showing the profit margins. This is just something I thought I would put out there and see if someone was interested in it.

At this time ..we are asking $66,000.

Thanks for your advise Biff. I really appreciate it.

    Default passive income!

    Tori,

If things are really rocking and rolling, why not hire 3 or 4 employees, train them, have the best one be the manager - and let them run the show. Passive income is what it is all about. This extra income can help supplement your new raw foods business!

    Just a thought...

    Biff

Yeah...I think we are going to just have to do that. We already have the raw kitchen part all set up anyways.

It's just been really stressful for us and we are trying everything we can to stay sane.

I'd prolly die of exaustion if I wasn't a raw foodie.

    Default Dire need. . .

The Seattle area is in DIRE need of a full fledged raw eatery, could you not turn it into a raw bistro with a take out case - I would be there EVERYDAY!!

I would totally be interested in taking a look at the investment if it was near me. Hope all goes well no matter what direction you go in. I have decided to open a juice/smoothie bar here in my town in the very near future. I am hoping to expand it into a raw food cafe/hangout from there. I got my spot all picked out and working on my business plan. Waiting right now for the place to start construction. It's going to be awesome. My goal is for them to go global....:) .....coming to a town near you hehe!
