evaluation of z-star manual juicer, anyone?

im going to europe for the summer and last year dragged my big solostar with me.... it worked fine with a converter, and i appreciated having it. but the thing is SO heavy it takes up a huge amount of my luggage allowance weight.

Now i see that tribest offers a conversion kit where I can just purchase the Z star manual juicer base and attach my Solostar parts i already have to it (they BURN you with the price of the base though...) WHICH WOULD BE A-LOT LIGHTER TO TRAVEL WITH...

What im wondering is how effective is the Z star, is it as good at juicing as the solostar?

I want to do mostly greens but would also like to be able to do some carrots, celery, etc. i know these will take more work, but does the manual juicer have the capability to do these and do a good job with them?

also, i sometimes made raw cookie dough with the homogenizing plate in my solostar.... since ill be using the same equipment except the base, can i still make raw recipes with the manual juicer, or will i break the handle off?.....????

I feel extremely happy with the Miracle manual juicer. It is entirely made of heavy duty stainless steel - no plastic - and costs the same as the one you're asking about. Just FYI. :)
