Default Any suggestions for Las Vegas?

I'm going to be in Las Vegas next weekend. Staying on the strip and won't have a car. I was wondering if anyone had any reccomendations? I know we'll be doing one buffet brunch where I'll be able to gorge myself on fruit and salad while everyone else gorges on SAD food. I'm not too worried about finding fruit and salad, just wondering if anyone had any success anyplace in particular? I know there is a raw restaurant there, but I hear it's an expensive cab ride so we'll probably skip it. Thanks!

Have a Great Weekend, you have it all under Controll. That is all you can do is eat Fruit and Salad. Why not call the RAW Restaraunt and ask if you can catch a bus there from the Strip...They probably will do all they can to get you there..........

If you take the bus, go west on Sahara from the strip. It's walking distance from the bus stop. You can find a google map for Go Raw Cafe West location.

Ahhhh, we're coming out Thursday. Hoping, since Kimberly Mac will be there, we will be supplied with some good, raw food. If not, well, hmph. One thing about Vegas, they've got FOOD! (use to be the prices were more reasonable than they are now). We always find stuff on the strip and have been to GoRaw (there are two of them, yes?) a couple of times.

How long do you think the bus ride will be? I'm taking my mom for mother's day and while she respects my lifestyle, she might be annoyed if we spent a huge chunk of our trip getting to and from a raw cafe. I want the trip to be about her. Also, is the food worth the trip? Thanks for the tips!

Are you staying in a hotel with a small fridge? Maybe you can take a little cooler. I do that alot. Or pre-make some frozen smoothies. Then you can go with her to eat out and maybe order a salad on the side. Since you have already eaten something in your room. If anything you can get fruit cups or even the fruit salad at McD's! Minus the yogurt if you want!
