    Talking Stoooopid question

Can I sprout a mejoul date pit and then pot it and grow a date tree? Would that even be possible?

Yum, I can't imagine unlimited mejoul dates.

Better to buy a full grown date palm! It could take years and also it's a tropical tree so if you live in a colder climate you'd need to grow it indoors.

But still it may be a fun experiment to do with the kids. They could have their own date palm when they grow up!

I've always wondered if there are any Bonzai date palms out there? I've seen Bonzai grape vines that actually produce fruit!
