Default I have grown baby-lentil-plants. Can I eat it?

    Maybe a stupid question but...

My lentilsprouts started to overgrow so I put them in soil to gown little plants. And now they are ready to eat I guess. I just haven´t heard of anyone growing lentilgreens. Can you do that?

It shouldn´t be a problem right, I just thought what if there is some poison or something in lentilgreens because nobody is growing it?

I don't know but I've read to eat lentil sprouts before they get the little leaves. It didn't say why. I'm sensitive to an upset stomach from lentil sprouts. Maybe you now have a pretty houseplant?

When you sprout lentils do you then eat the whole thing or separate the sprout part from the pea?

I gather you eat the whole thing. Do you make burgers with them? Put them in salads or what?
