I may or may not
I don't really do the fancy raw stuff so much. It gives me the toots.
Chicago has decided to market itself as the fair trade chocolate city..and I have no idea if they considered the new orleans reference, lol....BUT...they are gonna have a chocolate themed Green Fest/conference thingy. Lots of speakers on ecology, economics, and all things green. David Wolfe and alot of other really excellent speakers. I believe David id gonna be promoting his Naked Chocolate book. Lots of chocolate venders and maybe even some deals on cacao. If I were to use vacation time to go to a natural living event, I might do that, just b/c there's more than JUST raw food to check out, Free yoga classes, meditation classes, gardening stuff, and so on. It's at McCormick Center, which is attached to a fairly nice Hyatt for convenience. Right at the edge of Downtown, and China Town too.
Jennifer Cornbleet is doing a small bookstire event next month., but it looks super basic..more of a teaser and tasting for newbies, but it might give you ideas re" how to put together similar events to promote your business.
Deepak Chopra is gonna be appearing here in late May.
Dalai Lama in early May at a big outdoor venue.
Chicago keeps ya busy.
