    Default Moldy chickpea??

    Why are my chickpea sprouts molding!?!!?
    I'm doing everything they say to do and they just keep gathering mold after a few days???

    chickpeas tend to mold easily,
    you have to rinse them 3-4 times a day and i dont let them sprout for more then a couple of days.

    I don't let them sprout for very long either. I found that they always mold when I let them go more then 2 days.

    If you’re in hot weather you need to wash them more often also.

    Same thing has been happening to mine. Someone suggested rinsing much more often -- as soon as you smell something's amiss -- and letting them sprout in the dark (like in your cupboard). I have yet to try this to see if it works.
