East Coast/NY/Raw Festival??

Last summer, or was it the summer before?? LOL... someone sent me a link to a raw festival/camp that, I believe, was being held in upstate new york. I have tried to find it online and cannot. It was held at the great blue heron campground, I think..but I cannot find even an archive of it on the web.

I was wondering if anyone knows of it, or any other event out in this area. I could not go last summer, but now, I live here, and am looking for a Raw event/camp to attend this summer.

I had found that page..and looked on almost all of the links and cannot find the festival. I guess they are no longer doing it...

It was out in the country and was inexpensive and you could camp. That is more my speed than the NYC event..LOL..

I am thinking of making up my own summertime rawretreat, on a women's land trust in southern Ohio... need to get away!!!

if you come across that info please let me know! I'm in syracuse NY and am looking to get raw foods active around this area here.

maybe we could hold a raw foods festival here ourselves!

I am planning on starting some Raw potlucks this summer in the Binghamton area.. :-) I am not sure how long I will be here, but want to do something Raw before I go.

There are a couple of women in one of the hfs's here who are following my fasting and weight loss with interest. LOL. One is always saying she needs to do what I am doing. :-) I think that if I organized a potluck people would come. Isn;t there a raw group in Ithaca?? I thought I read something about it online.

I will keep you informed if I learn anything.. You do the same, o.k? We will get something Raw going here!!!!

there is a raw chef who started a raw cafe of sorts in ithaca that is currently open only on the weekends.. I"m hoping to go visit it soon.. other than that I have no idea. I'd think there would be something like that in ithaca.

In syracuse, it's a different story.... but yes! binghamton raw potluck sounds awesome!!!! I'd definitely attend... yay! i'm so happy there are other rawbies out there!
