    Default unhulled buckwheat. Help

I just put some in water to soak for the calazone and was reading threads and from what i can see it is not good to use if it has the shells on. I was soaking unhulled buckwheat but it started to smell bad so tossed out and started with the buckwheat with hulls. Is there any way to get rid of the hull once it has sprouted? Do i end up tossing two bags of them out? I am so hungry for calizone or even pizza that I decided to try the buckwheat again. Can anyone help me?
