Default Recalled Cat & Dog Food!

This site has a list of companies. It is the wet - foil - pouch products. The animals are having kidney failure. Signs of kidney failure are vomiting, loss of appetite and lethargy. I have yet to learn what is in the food that is wrong. Anyone know?

Yep some of those animal/dog foods have soy protein and other ingredients that are doing us harm..........this is pathetic.

You know those pink and white circus cookies they had in the eighties, well they have doggy bones like that here in a specialty shop.........cookies for dogs etc.............

    poor animals

We are starting to think that our animals understand everything we say. We do not think it is the body language or tone of voice. We are thinking that they get the content totally.

So I think that in their desire to please - the dogs understand the owners' emotional attachment to those cookies. By the way, they still sell them out here. (Wonder if its backstock HA HA.)

Oh yes they are, no doubt. The vet closest to me doesn't even take pet insurance. He doesn't have to. That is for the less successful ones. You should see his spread. OMG!

My Little Lasa Apso Mixed told me this Morning that She did not want to eat any more canned food. She said she wanted Chicken. She also told me that she did not want her kidneys to fail and be on Dyaloses;;;;;;I want Chicken she said..

You see ,she now wants to be like her Friend Mitzi, who passed 5 yrs ago. Mitzi only ate Chicken. So I guess I'll start with the Chicken and Rice. She does not want me to mention the word RAW.. She threatens to go on a Hunger Strike....She a (Female Dog)......Yea....

My baby girl Missy all of the sudden got a lump on her liver and was vomiting, and couldn't control her pee or poo, couldn't even move and just started crying (or so my mom tells me I wasn't there to help her...) and within 3 days she had to be put down cuz she couldn't stop having sezures(sp?) when she wasn't on all kinds of heavy drugs.... I miss her so much and I think this was due to her food. I wish I had known, then maybe the dog I counted as my sister would still be here with me. It's ok tho, I'll know for the future if I ever have a dog again that I need to make the dog food myself or find somewhere trusted.

R.I.P. Missy, I love you with all my heart, and I'm getting a butterfly tattoo just for you in the summer.

Best of luck with all your pets, and don't feel sad cuz of my sad post, Missy had a great life filled will unconditional love :) I just wish it could have been longer..

My mom's cat got really sick and almost passed away from kidney problems about 6 weeks ago. They had no idea what caused it. I think it might have been the food! My mom doesn't think so b/c the other cat was fine. But I read that they gave the food to 40 animals in their labs (damn them they do animal testing to boot!!!) and 6 or 7 died...the rest didn't. So maybe not all animals are affected by it? I find it terrifying. I always try to buy food without fillers for my cats. I want to research more about the raw diet for them.

Our cat is not raw. I could not please him or keep up with it. Our dogs are raw but we still leave dry food out for them - they just hardly ever eat it. Sometimes one or the other of them does not like the raw selection that day. Eventually I will figure out the cat. I had bought him raw meat that my other cats used to like years ago and even broke it up into neat little bags in the freezer. Then he turned up his picky little nose at it. Fortunately his food is not on the list.

Firicia! I am not going to cry! I am not going to cry! I am not going to cry!

Been there. Didn't do the tattoo though.

Our vet said to throw out all canned cat food..even if it's not on the list.

My pet store sells frozen raw cat food. I haven't bought it though. I did buy a bag of dry raw food...I guess it's dehydrated or something? I forget.
