Thread: Self Analysis

  1. #1

    Default Self Analysis

Is it detox? Is is menopause? Is it stressors? Is it PTSD?

Therapists usually have a disease du jour so how does one figure this out for oneself?

I'm not sure I quite understand the question Luckitri although it sounds intriguing.......

Are you asking if "self analyzing/analysis" is a [indication]of detox, menopause etc?

I am a little confused too. Are you saying that you are finding it difficult to do self analysis because behaviors have often been interpreted in light of the "label/s" by therapists?

Well I was having a really rough spot when I posted this. I am very tired because these teenagers have no respect and they will not be staying overnight again!

So when I am so fragile and bust up so easily - well I know I have alot alot alot of seemingly unsolvable stressors in my life and I need to find solutions. But there are so many possible causes to contribute to my low tolerance at this point and I get so snappy so quickly these days that I think that some of it might be the menopause. And since the hot flashes are starting to come back I am getting closer to considering 100% despite my fear of losing my job and my families' support if I get another detox deluxe like I had in Oct-Nov.

So yes, I need to figure this out myself because going to a therapist is not an option for me for several reasons. But I really am lost as to how to determine what is causing what with me.

What was the detox deluxe like in October?
Are you concerned that this can happen again.

Attempting to go raw-made me go to therapy-so we might have some things in common.
Write if you feel like sharing.
    You are NOT alone.

    with love,

So this is about trying to figure out what is causing your health problems Luckitri?

I find that it really helps to draw out a timeline and put every health issue event/experience in chronological order ona pierce of paper. That way you can see which organs has taken the most beating and start administering more healing towards it. Sometimes, the issue get so intermixed, intertwined that we lose clear sight of what is going on.....it starts to feel like a mystery or something "unusual" or strange is happening to me.

    Hello there!

I think it could be menopause. I am a therapist and I see several women going through menopause and I hear very similar symptoms to what you are saying. It sounds quite hormonal, and of course, eating raw can help with those symptoms..

    Good luck!!!

sweepea, the detoxe deluxe was like kidney and liver failure. Even though raw has helped me to ditch many medications there are still some I have to take and my conclusion is that I was finally starting to have massive weight loss and the toxins being stored in my fat was overloading my kidney and liver. So I had to start having some SAD and put weight back on and just keep the detox under control. I am still sick all the time which is why I am here partly. The medicine makes me sick and I am sick when I don't take it also - can't hardly move. While I was suffering - every time I got out of bed I came here looking for answers. Never read of anything like what I was going through. The doctors were clueless. Thats OK they have been clueless about most things I have had until I almost died. I am used to it. It is hard to get them to fill out the paper work for you to stay employed when they don't know what is wrong. I think that my employer must have taken that into consideration at some level because I have suffered visibly horribly over the years and had major major surgeries after years of suffering with undiagnosed problems.

Hey misslinda! No, to figure out my physicalhealth problems I would need to sit down with my medical file and log what happened when as so much has happened it is all a big mush in my mind anymore.

I just think that I need to know the cause of my emotional swings in order to cure it. So I think I need to know more about the emotions of menopause so I can know how much I can attribute to that. I have searched but not found enough detail for me to really know.

Plus since I wish to solve all my problems with eating choices as much as possible - aghh I am looking at estrogen relief from the dreaded tofu!

Hi lilylola! I sent you a mail. I do not wish for your help determining if therapists were outside of law but if you ever want to laugh at what they think is acceptable I will tell you. If you know of any sites that really explain the menopause emotion I would appreciate the link please.

    Default hi lucki

Mine was a very scary emotional detox-and i am in my mid-forties -so probably pre-menopause too.
I hope you are feeling well today.

Thanks sweepea. Yes, with sleep I get better. I think it is menopause emotion. Have been searching old threads and so far only find maca for menopause. Would like to know some inexpensive foods for menopause relief. Plus 100%.
