    Default Southwestern V8/Soup

Wow..LivingRawgirl..that sounds like it would wake you up!!! I am so interested in hearing all of the combos. that people come up with.. I wonder if they can be correlated with specific phases of detox or conditions..as we are all moved to try to create balance through our choices and affinities...

I just made this and I like it...

    3 or 4 large carrots
    1/2-1 red pepper
    2-4 green onions
    small piece of lime
    2 plum tomatoes

I juiced them and it tastes like a yummy soup. i thought of adding salt and spices, like cumin, but thought I would not, since I am doing this to juice fast.... maybe next time I will add a little garlic in place of some of the onion....

I have a book called Juicing for Life. It has specific juices to drink to cure different ailments based on the vitamins and minerals in the ingredients. Pretty interesting.

Here is the juice I usually drink:

greens - either beet or kale or cilantro...whatever I have
    1 beet
    1 apple
    2-3 stalks celery
    a little ginger

Tonya Zavasta got me hooked on collard greens and mango. Very simple, and tastes like heaven.

    1 starfruit
    2-3 fuji apples
    1-2 celery stalks
    1/2 cucumber
    2-3 carrots
    1-2 key limes

You can do it without the starfruit, but I believe it adds a distinctive flavor to the juice.

    HAPPY JUICING!!!

    Default everything drink?

I have read about drinking one juice for this and one juice for that, and it seems I need a juice for everything

So, instead of drinking 14 different juices, I just threw everything I had in the fridge into my Green Star and hoped for the best

    bunch of cilantro (greens?)
    piece of ginger (detox?)
1 whole meyer lemon (detox? good for liver?)
    1 grapefruit (bye-bye cellulite? )
    1 orange (tastes yummy)
4 carrots (better eyesight?, and I need a tan )
3 stalks celery (minerals, detox, ?)
    1 beet (?)
1 cucumber (for glowing skin, one day)

It's about 24 oz of the brightest red, everything good for ya morning drink!

Anyone care to add ingredients to my "everything drink" please comment!

How do collards taste juiced??? Stong? Bitter? Yummy?

    Thanks!

My favorite (and I don't really do a whole lot of others because this is so yummy!), 1 bunch of spinach or kale
    1 cucumber
    1 meyer lemon
    2 apples
    1 inch ginger root
    It tastes like lemonade...

Sometimes I find if I mix too many veg juices together, it upsets my tummy, so now I don't generally mix more than 3.

    Yesterday; 1/2 cucumber
    2 sticks celery
    2 green apples
    (1" root ginger)

The other day someone made me a carrot and beet juice - tasty!!

This is a variation of LivingRawGirl juice recipe-
    1/2 bunch of collards
    1 pomegranate
    1/2 grapefruit
    1 apple

It is great, doesn't taste too collard like. Yes, this is a wake up juice.

    Hi!

Today I had a lucky day experimenting with my smoothies/cocktails:
    Juice of
1 complete (!) organic Lemon (not peeled)
1 complete (!) organic Orange (not peeled)
    bunch of peppermint
    bunch of parsley
    piece of ginger

    Mix it with
    1/2 Avocado
    1 banana
    optional: sprouts
    optional: soaked Nuts
water or tea, e.g licorice tea
    1 tablesp. honey

    Finished and drink.

I love the taste of lemon and peppermint. Tomorrow I'll try ice cream with lemon and peppermint and ???

    Bye,
    Andreas

So I assume then that it is perfectly fine to mix your fruit and veggie juices...I'm glad you posted this because I'm starting my very first juice feast tomorrow, I just got my juicer in the mail today. The first thing I did was make a pear juice. YUM! Is it better if I don't mix my juices at first while I detox? Will it help me to detox faster or do you think I'm good either way?
