    Default Juicer casualties

    this past sunday ...

I bought my first juicer last weekend and I've been going nuts. I love carrots, apple and celery with a little bit of ginger root. A friend recommended a beet added to the mix so while I was at the farmers market this weekend I picked up some. I got home and immediately started juicing. I got a little carried away and my container overflowed with nice fresh organic local grown farmers market beet juice all over my wooden kitchen table. Needless to say my natural wood finish now has a beet red stain the size of my head.

    Default Yu might try

You might try hydrogen peroxide or Oxi Clean on it.
Or that could damage it more.. I guess it depends on how bad you want the stain to go away :)

    This wednesday ....

All day I've been thinking of the juice I'm gonna make when I get home. I was dreaming of a nice tall glass of spinach and carrots. I get home and immediately go to work. I empty the bottom drawer of the fridge onto the counter. I prep the veges. I assemble the juicer. I fire that sucker up and start shoving the spinach in. Two pounds of fresh produce juiced ...

    then i notice ...

the lid to the exit chute wasn't exactly in the correct position

I now have a horizontal green rooster tail spray mark across my white kitchen walls. This juicer is mighty powerful cuz it sprayed spinach errr .... stuff ... in a pattern about 5 feet wide.

Two instances in a weeks time. I can't wait to see what's next.

Thanks for sharing ... aren't lifes *little* surprises great?

I just love making juice and just keep grabbing stuff to put in it. After I overflowed my juice container I now keep an eye on it so I can empty it into a larger container and keep going ... and going ...
