Default Raw Foods Group at Church?

Hi.... wondering if any of you have started (or participate in) a raw foods group of any kind at your church. If so, would you be willing to share your program, things you've learned, what works, what doesn't, how often you meet, meeting format (study, potlucks, demonstration, etc), if you charge, and anything else you can think of?

I ask specifically about church because I'm curious about biblical integration and looking at raw instruction as a ministry rather than a business.

Please feel free to email me if you prefer. :)

We have small groups at ours, and some of them involve things like arts, crafts or sports, but the majority revolve around scripture and fellowship. I've often wondered about starting a Genesis 1:29 group myself.

Let me know if you come up with anything.

I go to a mega church, multi cultural, and they are incorporating raw fruits/veggie platters, along with the traiditional soul greasy foods my church loves for gatherings. I understand the biblical principles, but they aren't interested so I socialize with them, eat as I choose to and let them enjoy their foods.

As far as a ministry, I found I spent too much time trying to help the masses who didn't want to change. I am still waiting for one sickly lady who was desperate to change approach me two weeks ago and not a phone has come forth from her. It's no longer a ministry to me as I have given away tons of free time, I have flown to seminars out of state, I want to buy so much stuff to grow, I owe it to myself to charge for my time, classes and not any medical background which I disclose up front, but experience of many years. I will not compromise my eating patterns around anyone. I don't want to try to have the "choir" show up when they aren't interested so I go ahead and be my "good" self and enjoy the journey healthy without pain as I age.
