    Default Adzuki sprouts?

Do adzuki beans get little tails and actually sprout? I am trying to sprout some...its been a couple days with no tails yet...is this normal or..>?

I tried to look it up but didn't see anything. Thanks!

hmmm.... i believe i've sprouted them before without a problem....little red beans, right? i might try getting some from another shop if you can....sounds like you might have some "duds".... also, as an alternative, try sprouting lentils. they sprout very quickly, easily, and are very "forgiving" about not being rinsed often enough

    Thanks Kaybee,

    Thank you again :)

    Hi Lunar,
I've sprouted aduki beans and they do get tails but they take longer than other beans so just keep waiting. Mine took 2 or so days to finally start their little tails.

thanks vgloveforlife! It has been a few days now (it is freezing here, so maybe that has something to do with it?) and some are starting to get tails :) I am just afraid to wait too long and have them go bad or sometihng
