About blended greens..The taste IS stronger so that's why an apple or a pear or an orange..watermelon..goes in with them..a creamy avacado really is nice..(going to make your spinach orange soup tonight Analeah)
I made a smoothie the other day with maca, a pear, some hemp seeds, goji berries and a couple of tablespons of green powder. I was hesitant with the green at first because I knew it was going to be intense but my hair falling out situation made me go with it. It was Soooo green! surprisingly the taste was awsome. I wish I had written down exactly what I did because last night I tried doing it again with banana and it was eeww..perhaps the combination with banana instead of pear...it's all about experimenting..the main thing...something sweetish blended with greens.

It's definitely the pear that made the smoothie work. I just did it again and it was just as good as the first time...I also put two tablespoons of ground flax with it.

    Analeah,

I've been studying the raw lifestyle for 7 years now and only recently became determined to make it work for me in spite of my inability to chew raw foods. Thats the reason my taste hasn't changed yet. As far as the percentage of raw that I eat, I desided that I would do nothing less than 100% as long as I can supply myself with enough variety of foods that I can eat to maintain nutritional balance. As long as you all keep posting blended recipes and puddings, I'll feverishly cut and paste to build my "toothless uncook book". :)

I feel that including a "Superfood" raw supplement, appropriate oils such as Flax, Hemp, Coconut and Olive, and using a Raw Hemp Protein powder along with juicing, puddings etc. will give you all the nutrients you need, and a fair amount of good taste and variety as well! Good luck, and if you need more help please ask! :)

    Thanks Conscious :)

I'm been stocking up on quiet a few of your recommendations, but have not implimented them as of yet, but soon.

Before I found this forum and all of you good and caring people, I thought that I was doomed to a life of juices. ;)

Naaah you're not doomed Kirk, unless my recipes finish you off hehe

Jeanne - thanks for the idea of adding greens to smoothies/puds - I have a feeling that this will help me too, I just need to be brave and do it.. I use Natures Living Superfood which has quite an 'earthy' taste but I like it so I will try...
