How long does juice last?
I was wondering how long juice lasts after you make it? I've madde a couple different juices and can't drink them all in one day. I froze one and then unfroze it and still can't drink it all. I appreciate any feedback or knowledge on this subject.
Thanks so much!

it depends on what type of juicer you are using to make your juices. a masticating juicer will make juice that lasts for 24 hours whereas a centrifugal juicer needs the juice drank immediately.
if you freeze your juice (from a masticating only) and defrost it, it must be consumed and cannot be refrozen.
and just so you know... all this info has been shared over and over again in the fasting section.

Thanks Aleesha. I have a Jack la lane juicer.

Juice is always best when consumed right after making. But how it is stored makes a difference. I have stored Juice in a Lock and Lock container and have used it up to a week. Of course it is not at its optiminal state but depending on the type of Juice, it is not spoiled. Carrot Juice is one of the easiest Juicees to go bad fast, even it will last a week in the Lock and Lock container
When you Freeze, just do it in small batches. As you juice more you will become more familiar with what works for you and what don't.

Hi Jenifae
noticed you mentioned that you have a JLL juicer...how is yours working?? I'm aggravated with mine. It is constantly jamming on nothing really. Anytime I throw a beet piece in I'm guaranteed a jam...sometimes even carrots jam it. And it never juices leafy greens--just shoots them out the back. I have tried mixing them up with an apple before and after so maybe to catch them but nope!
My friend let me borrow her new out of the box Breville ikon blender it's not HI POWER like Vitamix or BlendTec but it's working for me for now. I have financial restrictions so can't see myself spending $400+ for a blender altho I DO want one. I have seen all the deeeeeelish looking dehydrator foods too but again no dehydrator I guess I could use my oven to see if I like them and if so later get a dehydrator. More things for me to ponder

glamazon,
My JLL broke so, I ended up getting a Breville juicer and I really like it. It doesn't do greens as well as a masticating one but, better then the JLL.
