Has anyone been able to reverse grey hair?
Hi,
I am curious if anyone has had any success with their grey hair returning to its natural color by eating raw. If so, how long were you raw before you began to notice this? Thanks! I am 1 month in and so hoping this will eventually happen to me!

Good question Vegan Princess! I've been wondering about this too.

I've just read this......
Taking Brewer's Yeast contains many minerals that will help the hair and it also contains zinc that has been known to restore natural hair color.
I'm taking Brewer's Yeast and putting it on my food also, looking for great results soon.

I just googled brewers yeast. Now I'm confused, is brewers yeast the same as nutritional yeast?

Brewers Yeast and Nutritional Yeast are NOT the same thing. They taste completely different. I use both once and awhile. Brewers yeast has a lot of nutrients!

After 3 months 100% raw, my grey hair started to change back to its normal color. 6 months now and I have to convince friends I haven't seen for a while that I am NOT dying my hair. About half my grey hair has reversed so far. My wife has stopped going grey completely. Also, I notice new growth in my "balding" areas. Pretty freaky... but exciting.

I LOVE seeing stuff like this. All these successes are so inspirational. Thanks for sharing :)

James - that is so awesome!! I don't have a lot of grey hair (I'm only 28)...but it's all right up front (or at least that's what I keep telling myself ;) ). It would be so awesome not to have to dye more...or at least not to have to color it quite as often. Keeping my fingers crossed!

James,
Are you using brewers yeast too? Wow, that is an amazing testimony!

Hi there,
I am just now (after 2.5 years raw) beginning to think that I have less grey hair than I used to. I do use red henna on my hair, but in between applications I think I'm seeing less grey than before. I'm 37. I love raw!!!! :-)
All the best,
Audrey

Audrey,
Your before and after pics are astounding! You took 10 years at least off of your face!! Reason enough to be raw...grey hair aside.

When I first went raw (about two years ago), friends noticed that my gray hairs seemd to be disappearing and that my thinning spots were filling in. Also my skin tone changed dramatically to a point where I had a very light "permanent tan".
This happened very quickly...and sadly, the effects went away as soon as a started to veer away from 100% raw.

in victoria boutenko's book "green for life", she mentions quite a few people reversing the color change by drinking green smoothies regularly.

I swear my hair is going brown again, to me it looks like I've lost some gray, but my daughter looks at my hair and shakes her head no. But last fall, I was under a lot of stress and I noticed more & more gray hairs, it was getting really obvious to me that I was slowly going gray. And it made me sad because I don't want to dye my hair but I don't like gray either. I just reconciled myself to having gray hair. But lately, I see less & less gray hair. I had a nice big streak of gray hair in the front, my hair is parted on right side and the streak of gray was on both sides, now it's on the right side of my part only. I keep eating my green smoothies and my daughter will see that gray going away hehe.

I seem to be seeing a little less grey now.
It is mostly in the front but going toward the top it doesn't seem as grey and even with the grey my hair is looking much healthier and i'm glad about that.
I will continue to take the Brewer's Yeast so that my hair will go all the way back to black.
I'm use to the taste and now i've started to miss it when i run out.
Keep the testimonies coming :) :)
Thanks.
B.
